THERESA: All I thought about was my girls when I was diagnosed and I didn't know what to expect, I just went down my basement and I screamed and I said I've got to go see a male doctor, I don't know if this is going to be good. And then when I saw him and I thought he was the greatest. He's humorous and I love the way he approached the situation. I was thrilled just by the way he, you know, just informed me of everything that was going on. He says, okay, I'm going to take a picture, I'm going to do this and he just explained to me everything that he was going to do and I was just, I just became relaxed and from that point on I went to the office and I just felt like, you know, he's just someone that I knew for years.
He cares a lot about his patients. I think Dr. Small is the greatest doctor that I, reconstruction doctor that I have met. I feel great, I feel like I am not going to let this cancer or any disease beat me, I will beat it.
