ROBIN: Oh, I love him. I love him. I think he's, he was a great, he was great through the whole process. Dr. Small immediately explained that I would have, would be able to keep my ab muscles, which was really important to me and that the surgery would give me a natural looking breast and that was great, you know. And I would also get a tummy tuck, which would be a plus.
Obviously your breasts are important and I, they are perfect. They are, you know, as a mother of two children, 30 years later, I have breasts and a stomach that's flat, a tummy tuck, I had, and my breasts are perky and they look good and I feel good about myself, you know. And that's very important, especially when you go through a surgery. Nobody wants to lose a breast, I mean, you're scared, you're frightened that you're going to lose your life and then you actually have something to feel good about because you do look good.
It made me feel better after being, you know, with such a diagnosis and feeling at 51 years old having to have a mastectomy, there was a bright end to the story.
