Fabiola describe su experiencia en español.
AMY: I think Dr. Small is probably the most genuine, down to earth, caring doctor that I have ever had an experience to know and to have a relationship with. Was diagnosed in the year 2000 and I worked with many plastic surgeons, but Dr. Small has a bed side manner that I have never ever experienced.
I had a ruptured implant that to me was probably the most devastating thing I ever went through because I've been through so many surgeries. And he explained in a caring way the options that I could take. Dr. Small went over all the fine print and in a way that was very, very caring and sympathetic to my needs. Individual needs. Which I don't think a lot of plastic surgeons get to know the patient the way Dr. Small got to know me.
I wasn't a machine. I wasn't another woman coming into a plastic surgeons office saying, okay, you have breast cancer and you're going to do this, do this, or do this. He was able to save my own muscle. I'm very athletic and I like to run and I like to exercise. So I am still able to do all that without losing any muscle at all in my abdomen wall. It's made me feel like a whole person. That's the only way I can explain it. It's just made me feel whole again. Where I was half a person, now I am actually a whole person. Because it's me, it's my own tissue, it's part of me, it's not a foreign object in my body.
I'm beyond grateful. I'm a 48 year old woman that I think finally has my life back.
