Restylane® side effects and risks are low.  Because the risk of Restylane® treatments is very low and there are minimal complications and potential risks, it has one of the most popular choices for facial rejuvenation available today. Restylane® treatments offer many excellent, beautification benefits and have a very low possibility of risk or complications. Restylane® side effects and risks are similar to other cosmetic injections (these minimal side effects may include redness or inflammation at the site of the injection.) An advantage for Restylane® is that it is generally less expensive and the results often last twice as long as other cosmetic injections.

At our office in New Jersey, Restylane® side effects and risks are low and patients are offered a wide range of cosmetic benefits including a youthful, healthy appearance. Restylane® can be used to decrease moderate lines, skin folds and wrinkles and is effective in treating the areas around the eyes, nose, and mouth.  Restylane® is also used as a lip enhancer as it can add volume to lips and produce a beautiful pronounced lip line.

Hyaluronic acid is the main ingredient used in the Restylane® injection and it is not created with the use of animal tissue. Restylane® side effects and risks are minimal and do not create complications for patients. Animal allergy to the consumer for patients and Restylane® also tends to be a more comfortable cosmetic injection when compared with other alternative filler products that use animal tissue. Restylane® treatments produce completely natural and long lasting cosmetic results. The cost of Restylane® is affordable and options are available for patients who desire to finance the Restylane® cosmetic treatment.

Restylane® side effects and risks have been experienced at a very low rate. Some minimal side effects experienced have included redness, itching, swelling, tenderness, faint bruising, and minor discomfort in the area of the Injection site. These minimal side effects disappear hours of the procedure, they sometimes remain for about three or four days. It is relatively common to experience swelling. Because hyaluronic acid is a natural product and is found in the body, there is little concern about potential allergic reactions or concerns that the body may reject the Restylane® injections. Additionally, potential patients who know that they have allergies to animal products also do not have to worry about Restylane® allergic reactions and a skin pre-test is not required. Restylane® side effects and symptoms are minimal and the results of this cosmetic injection treatment are beautiful and beneficial.
